I came across this Mom's blog a couple of weeks ago, she is a mother of three small children with one on the way. Her fourth child is being delivered today....he (his name is Stellan) has multiple things wrong with his heart...most of them life threatening. The Doctors assured her that Stellan would die around 23 weeks but....he has miraculously survived. The Doctors are not quite sure what to expect when Stellan makes his grand entrance. As a mother, I can not even imagine what this mother and her family are going through! Please join me in praying for MckMama and her family today!
You can check out her story, Her blog is under Blogs I Follow....My Charming Kids

Fun Times with MiMi and Opa
Gabe is pretty Lucky because His MiMi and Opa haven taken him (just him) to do a lot of fun things over the past month. Things that "the sisters" are not quite old enough for.
Opa took Gabe today to the Museum to see the Dinosaur exhibit. He had a great time looking through the exhibit and digging for Dinosaur bones. They also saw the IMAX Movie,Gabe said there was not a lot of "fighting"...the things that matter to a five year old boy!

Mimi and Opa also took Gabe to the Circus. He had a great time seeing all of the animals! His favorite part were the tigers and ponies! I am glad they took him....I have to be honest, the circus freaks me out a little bit!
Finally, Mimi and OPA took Gabe to Castlewood Canyon to go hiking. Gabe had a great time looking for animals, climbing on the rocks, and running through the trails! Iam sure MiMi and Opa had a great time keeping up with Gabe.
We are very blessed to have MIMI and OPA live so close! Thanks for the Fun trips!

Somedays I wish I was Winnie....
Winnie "the wonder dog" has such a nice life. She eats and drinks when she wants, sleeps in our bed, occasionally (who am I kidding, ALWAYS) gets leftover treats from the table, and basks in the sunlight. Her biggest worry is keeping the squirrel out of our back yard. Can you imagine if a squirrel was your biggest worry? Ahhh...the life of a weiner dog!
Mini Cheer Camp
The girls attended the Eaglecrest Mini Cheer Camp last Saturday. They had a great time cheering and dancing. Last night they got to perform what they learned at half time of the football game. They did really well. We might have two future cheerleaders on our hands! They were actually too young to participate but, they know the person who is in charge! :)

What's wrong with this picture?
Gabe's Field Trip
Today Gabe's Class went on a field trip to the Doctors office. They had a great time taking a tour of the office and looking at all of the different exam rooms. They also got a chance to feed the fish when they were done with the office tour. Gabe really enjoyed watching "Nemo and Dory" eating their food.
The kids each got a turn to listen to their heart beat and then a chance listen to Mommy's heartbeat. My heartbeat was slower. Gabe said it was slower because "I am old"...Thanks Gabe!
We then went to Dairy Queen and Gabe paid for his own Dipped cone with Dimes. It was the highlight of the day!
Can you tell what the theme of the field trip was...
Everything we did started with the letter D.

Race for the Cure
This past Sunday we had the opportunity to participate in the Annual Race for the Cure. It was an one of the most inspiring events that I have ever attended. I think that there were over 68,000 people that participated in the event just in Denver. These people were there to support friends or loved ones that are women with the disease, women who are survivors, or women who have lost their battle. We were honored to be there in support of a family friend who has just started her battle and a friend that is a Survivor. We are rooting for you Clydell, and we Celebrate with you Becky!!
