I marinated Salmon all day with the hopes that Nick would come home and grill. He took the salmon plate outside to the grill, uncovered the grill, and then hit the ignite button. One problem, the grill did not ignite. So, we had to come up with plan B. We still grilled..... but on the George Foreman grill. I made Nick stay outside, I did not want our entire house to smell like fish. EWWW!

This happened to our grill too, but instead of changing plans, we just took out the butane lighter, turned on the propane, covered our "special spots", prayed, and pressed the lighter. Thankfully, we're still alive and the grill is still in use. Anthony's getting ready to head out there to grill burgers!
I stand back about 3feet from the grill and throw a match in. It works every time. It was after I burned a few of my eyelases off that I decided to move away from the grill a few feet.
Yeah, I did actually burn off my eyebrows when we lived in New Mexico doing that! But, to this day, that's how we light our gas grill. Step back and throw in a match! Nick's way seems a little safer, somehow!
