This past Sunday we had the opportunity to participate in the Annual Race for the Cure. It was an one of the most inspiring events that I have ever attended. I think that there were over 68,000 people that participated in the event just in Denver. These people were there to support friends or loved ones that are women with the disease, women who are survivors, or women who have lost their battle. We were honored to be there in support of a family friend who has just started her battle and a friend that is a Survivor. We are rooting for you Clydell, and we Celebrate with you Becky!!

My Studious 5 year Old
This is what Gabe is working on in his Junior Kindergarten class. I am so proud of him....I don't think I was writing before I went to kindergarten. It might be hard to tell from the picture but, this worksheet is on the letter C. He drew a picture of a cat and then wrote the word cat right below it. He then circled all of the words that began with C and then choose one of those words to write at the bottom of the page. He choose the word CUP. He even wrote his name (it's even legible) at the top of the paper! Way to go Gabe!! You are my Super Star!!

It has been sooo long...
Since I have posted anything on the blog. My deepest apologies...Life has become so crazy around Mac's Spot! Here are a few of the things that we have been doing over the past few weeks.
Last Saturday we went to a construction party for one of the new libraries that was being built in the area. As you can tell, Ella had a fun time digging in the dirt while wearing her pearls! :)
Cheerleading is in full swing! Competition practice, Games, and all of the administrative stuff I have to do takes up a ton of my time! But, I love the girls and the sport so it makes it worth it!
